Filter your data
Narrow down analytics to specific audiences, traffic sources, and behaviors. Filters let you slice your attribu.tech dashboard to answer questions like "how much revenue came from Google Ads visitors in the US?" or "which pages do returning visitors land on?"
How filters work
Hover over any data point in the dashboard and click it to apply a filter. For example, click "Google" in the Sources table to filter everything to visitors who came from Google. The entire dashboard updates to reflect the filtered view.
Active filters appear at the top of the dashboard. Click the X on a filter to remove it, or click Clear all to reset.
Available filter dimensions
| Dimension | What it filters |
|---|---|
| Referrer | The website that linked to yours (e.g. google.com, twitter.com) |
| Channel | Traffic channel grouping (Paid Search, Organic Social, Email, Direct, etc.) |
| Campaign | UTM campaign value (e.g. "spring_sale", "newsletter_june") |
| Country | Visitor's country based on IP geolocation |
| Region | State or province within a country |
| City | City-level location |
| Browser | Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc. |
| OS | Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux |
| Device | Desktop, Mobile, or Tablet |
| Page | Specific page path (e.g. /pricing, /blog/my-post) |
| Goal | Visitors who completed a specific goal (payment, signup, etc.) |
Combining multiple filters
You can apply multiple filters at the same time. Filters are combined with AND logic. For example, filtering by Channel = Paid Search and Country = United States shows only US visitors who arrived through paid search ads.
Click additional data points to add more filters, or use the filter bar at the top of the dashboard to add filters manually.
Filter by visit count
The visit count filter lets you segment by how many times a visitor has been to your site:
- Visit count = 1 - First-time visitors only. Useful for seeing how new traffic behaves.
- Visit count = 2+ - Returning visitors. See which sources bring people back.
This is helpful for comparing first-time conversion rates against returning visitor behavior, or understanding which channels drive repeat engagement.
Filter by goals
Filter your dashboard to show only visitors who completed a specific goal. For example, filter by the "payment" goal to see which sources generate paying customers, or filter by "signup" to see where your new users come from.
Goal filters work with all other dimensions. Combine a goal filter with a country filter to see which countries produce the most paying customers, or with a campaign filter to compare conversion rates across ad campaigns.
